Stretch Mark Removal

To prepare for your stretch mark treatment, we recommend the following:

1 to 2 weeks before:

• Avoid sun exposure and tanning.
• Avoid waxing, chemical peels, or laser treatments in the treatment area.

3 to 5 days before:

• Stay hydrated to encourage the best results.
• Avoid alcohol and excessive caffeine.

Day of:

• Arrive with clean skin. Do not apply lotions, sunscreen, or other skincare products.
• Eat a light meal before.

To encourage optimal results, we recommend abiding by the following instructions:

• Avoid touching your skin unnecessarily to prevent infection.
• Avoid abrasive scrubs and exfoliation in the treatment area.
• Avoid excess sun exposure. Your skin will be extra sensitive.
• Use a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen.
• Avoid hot showers, saunas, sweating, or exercise for 24–48 hours to prevent skin irritation or infection.
• Drink water and use hydrating skincare.

For a few days, you may experience redness, swelling, and small pinpoint scabs in the treated area. Some patients notice a mild sunburn-like sensation immediately afterward. Most patients return to their normal activities within 24 to 48 hours. We recommend following post-treatment guidelines carefully to optimize results and protect your healing skin.

You may see subtle improvements in your skin’s texture and tone within 1 to 2 weeks of your first session. However, because collagen and elastin production takes time, the most noticeable results typically appear 4 to 6 weeks after your final treatment. As your skin continues to regenerate, you will see progressively smoother skin and faded stretch marks.
